@ffles I agree completely. I do a lot of different forms of art, both traditional and digital, but people who see my digital art think that I don’t have to use effort to make the stuff I do. If making thing digitally were that easy, it wouldn’t be considered art. Hopefully some of those people will catch on…

6 people age by sculpting their faces.

  16. ffles says:

the difference between sculpting digitally and sculpting physically, is CTRL+Z. That’s it. The undo button.

To sculpt in either, you need skill. The computer isn’t doing any work for you like some idiots like to think. If you want proof of that, just download the demo version of one of them and see what amazing things you can’t come up with due to your lack of skill. Physical and Digital sculpting go hand in hand.

  17. Johanneslars says:

Wow – it would be amazing to create any of these faces with such apparent ease, but the “live 4D” sculpting is very clever…

  18. willadio says:

I have done a little sculpting and it takes a large amount of patience, especially working on the eyes and mouth.

  19. MrBeastDesign says:

I am actually watching sculpting videos because they have alot to do with the sculpting in CGI, it’s very informative, thank you for this.
